Stroller for traveling
The international 'npk design team' is known for developing high-grade industrial products. Commissioned by French baby-carriage specialist Team Tex and in close co-operation with parents and children 'M!go' came into being - an innovative travel system with interchangeable components, designed for children up to 4 years old. It's a tub, a carrycot, a baby seat and an infant car seat. Apart from the clever gas-spring folding mechanism of the carriage, it has three other special patented features that make 'M!go' exceptional. Firstly, the driving direction can be changed easily. If parents want to have eye contact with the child, they only have to swing over the height-adjustable push bar. In this way, the back wheels are automatically fixated into the swivelling direction. That the push bar can be swung over has the added advantage that the seat does not need to be turned, in other words: the child remains seated. Secondly, according to the design team, the carrycot (for babies up to nine months) is one of the most lightweight of its kind. Thirdly, only a single chassis is needed for accommodating all the different shells in the car. It's called Isofix base and comes separated from the shell superstructure. So the seats are especially light. Plans have it to launch the travel-friendly noble pram on the market in the course of this year.

npk design’s 30th anniversary
Party
Friday September 19th npk design celebrated her 30th anniversary in the main office in Leiden.
All relations, former colleagues, friends and family were shown around in the various design studios. Afterwards all guests, seated at long tables, enjoyed an Italian dinner on our inner court.
