npk design’s interest in photography goes much further than the documentation of its own designs. With its own professional studio and a photographer specialized in product photography, npk has been interested in this medium right from the outset. At first sight, the product photography appears to be businesslike and somewhat remote. A closer look, however, reveals how the personal intentions of the designer are accentuated by material expression and a refined use of shadow.
