Championchip Tracker X5
Championchip X5 is a track & tracing system belonging to a new generation of Sport Track Devices. The Tracker X5 makes it possible to visualize in real-time and for a wide audience, large outdoor sporting events such as marathons, cycling, sailing and rowing competitions. Participants may be followed on an individual level. Depending on the sport, the competitor, boat or bike is equipped with the device using an appropriate mounting method. Based on GPS, positions and data of participants are generated and published on a website, combined with maps, video, audio and analyses. The design has a robust look & feel that suits the sports world and exudes digital accuracy. The light weight casing is waterproof and carried out in soft-touch material. npk developed the design and the engineering of the tracker and the necessary charging stations. Betronic developed the electronics.
