Eden bed
The central theme in the design for this pioneering double bed was “togetherness”.
Eden is a unique bed; it does not have an unpleasant chink in the middle and yet both sleeping-places can be adjusted independently to suit individual tastes using the remote control. Jensen’s Original Zone-system makes the mattress, there where necessary, softer and harder. The accompanying series of accessories includes tables, a magazine holder and a head board that can also be adjusted with the remote control. The product family is innovative in design, technique, comfort and quality and is available in three lifestyle versions. For the determination of the colours and textiles there was a cooperation with Studio van der Scheer. In addition to the design npk also carried out the engineering and prototyping for the bed. The product is meant for the European market and is produced according to severe Norwegian environmental requirements.
