Transwaag
The Transwaag is a lightweight scale to be used when taking blood from a blood donor. The scale has a simple, modular construction and is quick to operate, setting it apart from other products. The microprocessor-controlled scale weighs the amount of blood that flows into the blood bag. The display indicates the volume of blood flowing into the blood bag. At the same time the device continually mixes the blood with the stabiliser solution in the bag in order to prevent coagulation. This turn-key product was carried out in close collaboration with the client. npk products supplied the tools and parts which were produced in China.
