Kids-F ergonomic seat system
The Twisttable system was developed for day-care centers and offers a solution for the ergonomic problems caused by the differing heights of children’s seating and that of the day-care personnel. Personnel that give guidance in crèches often sit too low or get strained by lifting up children frequently. The simple system consists of a table with swivel bucket seats. The seat has a footrest integrated into the form. Children can climb into the seat independently and safely using the footboard and thus sit at the same height as an adult. The application of plastic for this type of furniture is innovative. The seat is child-friendly and can be disconnected easily for cleaning. The project is a collaboration between npk, initiator KOW Architecten, Heutink and producer Kids-F.
