Bridges Biesbosch Marina Drimmelen
The yacht-basin of Drimmelen is being expanded and includes a new port and recreation area. The access bridges joining the embankments of the old and new port to the new floating docks have been realised. They are made of a unique combination of materials for the production of docks: plastic, aluminium and stainless steel. The accompanying gateways are made of glass and aluminium. The five fixed bridges for car traffic and the movable bridge for passengers and cyclists, between the existing and the new port, are in preparation. The bridges are the showpiece of the new area, by means of the evident compatibility with the landscape architecture and the characteristic features of the area.
